| How to Finish Strong!!!!!! by admin | ||
In my last newsletter I really encouraged everyone to finish the year strong, I really believe how you exit 2007 will greatly influence how you enter 2008. In this final newsletter of the year I thought it made sense to give some tips and insights on how to finish strong. If you think about it, how you finish the race is the most important part of the race.
1. Consider and write down your professional goals for the upcoming year. Your goals can be driven by performance, or income. The bottom line is to have a goal to keep you thinking out of the box and aspiring for more.
2 In business, make sure you thank all of your customers and co-workers for their service and support for this year. Also, let them know how much you appreciate them and look forward to working with them next year.
3. How about writing a note or sending a card to your spouse and thanking them for how wonderful they have been to be married to this year. It doesn't matter whether it has been a good year or a tough one, it could help create and start the year with the right environment for your relationship to improve next year.
4. Make a goal sheet for your children to fill out and state their goals for 2008. Make sure your children drive their goals and not you. If you try to influence their goals you are trespassing. Have them sign and date it. You guessed it, review it this same time next year and every year after until they make you stop.
5. Get your bottom on a scale and weigh yourself. Make a goal for your physical health next year. Make sure you begin a workout routine prior to the New Year to lay a foundation for 2008. This will increase the likelihood that you will actually stick with your workout routine.
6. Finally, make a commitment spiritually to what you believe in. Make a commitment to practice what they preach. Also, become a philanthropist. Give your time, effort and money to non profit organizations and give to improve the world around you. Every year, give more.
